I'm using Firefox 41.0.1, which is the latest version, but also Internet explorer 9 on the same computer, and Windows 7 professional. I could access those sites normally a few weeks ago, before the latest AVG updates. I've noticed that this kind of thing has been happening on other sites as well, but in this case, the main content on the page loads and I can at least view the content and log into the site. My connection is working well on all of them, all other websites and content load normally except for those sites.Īlso, when I logged on this site, the browser kept trying to load content from the site and couldn't. I found out this problem on all the devices I have which run AVG: my desktop computer, my laptop, my tablet and my smartphone. Karpersky was mentioned on the post, but as I saw here that someone had SSL problems on e-mails recently, it left me wondering if this problem is happening on AVG with some SSL certificates for websites as well. Searching for a solution, I've found out that it could be caused by an interference from the antivirus, which is conflicting with the SSL certificate information on the browsers. On Firefox, a warning message for showed (which had content from ) saying that the certificate was unsafe, and the page didn't load. It seems that the browsers try to load content from the sites, , it just keeps trying to load the content, and it never does. Immediately encountered problem with a particular SSL certificate. This was the first indication I had that an Avast update was being performed. What happens is that they start loading, the title appears, but the page keeps blank. During this session Avast announced that a system restart was required to complete its software update.
Hello, I've noticed since yesterday that there are a few sites which I can't view on all the devices in which I have AVG installed.
